Talisman Mining (ASX:TLM) has been granted a trading halt by the ASX pending an update of exploration activities at its Springfield Project in Western Australia.
Earlier in the week farm-in partner joint venture partner, Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR), advised the commencement of a new program of reconnaissance diamond drilling at two prospects.
The drilling program forms part of an ongoing multi-pronged exploration effort by Sandfire as part of the $15 million exploration farm-in joint venture entered into by Talisman and Sandfire in December 2013.
The halt will remain in place until the opening of trade on Monday 18th May 2015, or earlier if an announcement is made to the market.
