Nice appointment and he should not command an over the top salary initially. Jason has broad experience in areas useful to this next stage - getting Phillips River financed up and running. However, can't see any "coal face" operational experience in his history. I guess as long as in due course the company employs the right engineering and operational people then it probably does not matter.

Personally experience-wise I thought Steve was the right man for the job but the market did not want him so that is now history and the share price is certainly reflecting that. Perception is reality in this game.
