I don't think Santos has any interest in TEG, but if further down the State Gas / Santos JV track this changes. Then there would be much interest in TEG 'S shareholding.
I would of thought to suit both companies it would be a matter of an agreed off market trade.
Santos gets the shares and equity in GAS,
TEG gets the dollars. $$$$
I'm not aware there would be any corporate/ASIC problem with such a transaction ?
I always thought this was the greater plan for TEG and with this current JV being announced it could well be shaping that way.
