I sold my TRS shares awhile ago, but recently ventured into a TRS chain at Chadstone (VIC). The missus had viewed a recent catalog and actually insisted we go check it out!
I was somewhat pleasantly surprised by the ranging and the pricing, which actually seems quite competitive. The store sits in the same complex as Kmart and Daiso and seemed to be doing quite well. Had decent traffic. I had to wait in the queue about 4-5 customers deep.
We both noted a few items which actually seemed quite reasonable. Eg large scenic picture canvas for $50 which we have seen in Harvey Norman for $300+
