Detonating a few EMPs to cause a massive blackout would be much cheaper and quicker than buying up the land in oz. With the advanced EMP (electromagnetic pulse) weapons that China , Russia , Iraq and N Korea possess we have no defence to an EMP attack, nor does the USA.. Our government has nothing in place to alert or advise citizens of oz re a national emergency. All the attackers have to do is detonate 1 EMP in the upper atmosphere above each capital citymilitary bases in oz and it is a total grid system down , game over immediately. The EMP would destroy all computer chips in utilities ,infrastructure, cars , computers , phones etc in a radius of hundreds of kilometres . EMP would not kill people.
