Atlas Iron considers the geology of the area subject to compulsory partial surrender to be unfavourable to the identification of economic iron ore resources. Multi-commodity mineral exploration completed in the area has not produced results that indicate potential for an economic resource.

The relinquished area contains the southern Pilliwinkle and Assam gold prospects... The best result was 1m at 10.9 g/t Au from 17m down hole depth in WRKRC166.

This final surrender report for E52/2576 and E52/2749 describes base metals exploration activites on the licences during the 2011 - 2015 reporting period. The licences formed part of the C130/2011 (Skeleton Creek) combined reporting group (CRG).
