A monolithic organisation such as Telstra has a way too many level of managers having meeting and telling the next level of managers doing things rather than doing the real work and it's repeated the same in the next level of management, so in the end at least 2 levels of managers are there for the purpose of having meeting rather doing the real work. I think Telstra has to remove those layers of management to cut cost.
