$7.40 is the historical price that I understand people paid at privatisation under either T1, T2 and T3. So historically TLS has been a horrendous investment having lost half its value.
An AGL merger might or would put it on a higher long term trajectory.
Investors barely want to lose half of their investment on what is regarded as a blue chip stock.
Perhaps Telstra should be renationalised, it has done so appallingly.
