Not many companies had 10's of billions of dollars to invest in what is regarded as the most exciting sector on/in the ASX .The sector (communications/technology) as described by Thodey. That is the only statement/action I agree with whether Thodey or Penn. They spent 10's of billions in tls only for EPS,DIV to halve during their time as ceo's.
Recently Brady sells off tls's successful tls ventures division,a division successful only because harbourview recommended the start ups to tls when imo tls should have the talent in house to identify those starts themselves. Tls didn't/doesn't have such talent ,confirmed with their start selection co's within muru d.. Selling off such a successful start ups /emerging companies in such a sector is beyond my ability to describe due to HC rules.
There are other Australian co's investing in emerging companies /start ups in this 'most exciting' sector and what does tls do they sell out to do what.? QAN,TLS,BHP etc same culture and thats the problem..
Tls is like a piece of linen hot washed then stuck in the clothes dryer. Current finiancial trend will continue until management and culture is 100% changed.
