Although this line is good for TNG/SMS The company is also expecting a significant reduction on the preproduction capital estimate for the project, which the 2015 DFS put at $980-million.
This also means they have a less energy intensive, higher purity, lower capex, high value multi-product, lower safety risk process inputs (acids) and thus waste disposal issues, for high value products versus the same currently being produced that use legacy processes.
Honestly can't believe so few people can see this for what it is. Because if you were to write a book on how to disrupt conventional industrial processes, this is how you'd do it.
DYOR but I've forgotten all about the EIS lag for the mine as this stuff above is serious people doing some serious engineering.
One last point, I'd be interested to know where else this type of process can be used as I bet this is not the only application.
