    From News today:

Mr Koutsantonis said "many" potential buyers had been identified and he wanted to see Arrium sold as a whole unit, rather than carved up with the profitable parts sold to pay the banks.
"If this is just about breaking up Whyalla and shutting it down so the rest of the distribution business can be healthy, we're out," Mr Koutsantonis said.
"Taxpayers' money is contingent on the long-term viability of Whyalla. If that's off the table, then so is our money.
"[It] should be sold as a whole.
"We don't want to break those links between Whyalla and the rest of the country.
"I am very hopeful that the administrator is not doing what the Australian banks want him to do which is to separate Moly-Cop from the rest of the Arrium operations."

    -------

Hah! now you know the best solution is gov chipping in money.

KM doesn't care about Whyalla, they only care about doing their job and getting paid...in the end of the day they always have a reason: "It was in the best interest of all stakeholders.,"

If some private equity gets to recap Arrium, then they would sell the steel factory in whayall - it's a financial cancer..

If KM sold Moly-Cop without getting a very good price, then they are just making this thing worse..

Wake up government, if you want to put in money and imprve the technoogy and save whyala jobs, then just do it!!! Stop waiting for others to act first...Or may you are reluctant to put in money because you don;t quite believe in Arrium turnaround?? Moment of truth
