- Toro Energy (TOE) has intersected gold in the bottom of hole extension TED05 at its Yandal Gold Project in WA
- Hole TED05 was drilled to test the basement geology in an area of unknown geology and develop the bore to test the groundwater chemistry
- This hole was planned to a depth of 150 metres but was extended due to the presence of quartz veining and sulphide at the bottom
- Gold was also identified, with results peaking at 1.15 grammes per tonne
- Now, the drill core from TED05 is being analysed for multi-element geochemistry
- Toro is steady on the market this morning and shares are trading for 1.3 cents each
