Another false dawn? Any sign of funding? Any indication the PPA which was supposed to be in process of negotiation has started? Likelihood of the State of Emergency due to end in March will be extended again (covid rates higher now than ever before)? The 2MW interim PPA with BPC is signed (apparently) - what now? Or is it yet another white elephant?
Reality - the IRP20-40 says 10MW of CBM power generation by 2025. On one hand, Govt is keeping CBM progressing there but at an incredibly slow pace. Bills need to be paid, and that mounts up year on year. We know; we have been asked to keep paying.
Securing funding has been a problem - why? The world is awash with cash; good projects are getting funded - why is this one, which seems like an exceptional projects where there is a great need for cheaper domestic power, struggling to get going?
