Sydney Airport Holdings Limited (ASX:SYD) has reported traffic growth of 6 per cent in March, on the back of increased seat capacity and foreign nationality traffic.
Chinese travel increased by 19 per cent over the month, with the market benefiting from Chinese new year travel. Meanwhile, USA passengers rose 14% and travel also increased from New Zealand and the UK nationals.
CEO Kerrie Mather says domestic travel increased by 2.3 per cent in March, driven by increased underlying demand, continuing its strong trend in 2013.
Sydney Airport Holdings generated a net profit of $158.1 million for its 2012 financial year.
