Transurban Group (ASX:TCL) expects to open the 95 Express Lanes Project in America this weekend and start tolling by the end of this month.The toll road owner and operator holds a 77.5 per cent interest in the asset which it reports is being delivered ahead of schedule and budget.CEO Scott Charlton says the completion of the project is a significant development in the company’s network of managed lanes in Northern Virginia.Mr Charlton advises 95 Express Lanes will alleviate pressure in a critical corridor and provide more reliable travel times.Transurban Group reported a net profit of $252 million in the 2014 financial year.
