So for example if I held 200k shares before the trading halt last week then I would be entitled to 25k of shortfall shares? Correct? 1:8? 25k shares at 0.6c is roughly $1500 dollar worth? I think my maths is right here haha.
You would have to own a pretty decent holding to be entitled to anything half decent & that is still assuming there is going to be a shortfall.
I think we will see a fair bit of buying on market and if there isn't much shortfall probably a lot more buying then many expect.
What I do want to know though is if the price jumps up to say 7.5cents for example and I sold my shares I would still be entitled to the shortfall shares if there is any left at 0.6c wouldn't I? because I was registered as holding on the 18th? I guess it's a good thing we are only entitled to 1:8 to stop all the holders who got in pre 0.6c dumping on market and just taking up their entitlement haha.
Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow, hopefully we follow in the footsteps of DEG after their capital raise
