Or...it could have been Titan insiders that drove the price up on Friday, in an attempt to get the remaining 7-8% of Core shares not yet tendered to Titan to accept Titan's latest offer. As long as those shares remain in Core shareholder's hands, Core can't be de-listed from the TSX-V Exchange.
The timing seems strange for the s/p to suddenly rise by 70% out of the blue, given Titan's recent announcement that activities in both Peru and Ecuador were being halted due to the covid-19 pandemic. I also think that if it were the Chinese that caused the buying/price increase on Friday, the volume would have been a lot higher. Whatever the reason, I'm glad to see the shareholders make a few dollars and be given an exit opportunity if that's what they were hoping for...turtle56
