Yes, the assets may be quality, but the management of the company has been deplorable. The board has got a good price, considering where the sp has been. Will there be other interest? There may be, but UMG are already a fair way down the track on the buyout. A competitor would not have the same information as the French bid and would therefore be bidding with a handicap.
