paying close to 10% grossed up dividend a $3.5B drop in market cap is clearly overdone. Even if the dividend is lowered, which is possible across the banking sector, todays price drop is overdone. But that is typical of the market as we all know prices are pushed down too far on negative news and too high on positive news.
As usual, the panic merchants are the only ones that loose money on days like today while the savvy investor finds opportunity.
