Yes, I tend to agree. However, with the turmoil in the casino/gaming industry it would certainly be a good move for Tabcorp to basically double its size, and perhaps a significant premium is "on the cards"! They need urgently to counter the impact of William Hill and others and this will go some way towards that. For a very long term holder in Tatts (which has treated me well with divs over the years) it is a very interesting time ahead. Happy to walk away at $4.75 (or thereabouts).
