Channel 9 need to look into the way they have reported this news because there are so many inconsistencies and the whole episode stinks of dimwit reporters , as you have suggested, getting too excited with the smell of blood around. At the 6pm news, the newsreader mentions to be cautious as scenes to follow are confronting. The same scenes were replayed in the hour before over and over with no caution. Too many assumptions by people who should know how to be accurate and not sensationalist. Many other instances of unprofessionalism looking for extra excitement do not surprise me. The story is huge but maybe, just maybe ABC would have done it better.
