    April 15 - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Monday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.29%.

    • KINGFISHER: Home improvement retailer Kingfisher KGF.L said Chair Andrew Cosslett will step down in June after seven years in the role and be replaced by Claudia Arney.
    • RIO TINTO: Low rates of investment in the global mining sector have put the global energy transition at risk, widening the supply gap in critical minerals like copper, Rio Tinto RIO.L chairman Dominic Barton said.
    • ANTOFAGASTA: Growing demand for copper along with supply constrictions could push prices higher than last year in 2024, the head of Chilean miner Antofagasta ANTO.L said.
    • PAGEGROUP: UK's PageGroup PAGE.L reported a nearly 13% drop in group gross profit in the first three months of 2024 due to slow hiring across its markets, and said job flows deteriorated toward the end of the quarter.
    • ASHMORE: Ashmore ASHM.L said its assets under management dropped in the first three months of 2024, as choppy markets kept investor appetite for risk assets subdued and emerging markets delivered a "mixed performance".
    • INSURANCE PAYOUTS: Britain's homes and businesses received 4.86 billion pounds ($6.07 billion) in property insurance payouts in 2023, up 18% from a year earlier, as weather-related home claims hit a record high, the Association of British Insurers said on Monday.
    • OIL: Oil prices fell during trade on Monday, as market participants dialled back risk premiums following Iran's attack on Israel late on Saturday which the Israeli government said caused limited damage.
    • GOLD: Gold prices firmed, hovering near record-high levels hit in the previous session.
