    July 15 - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Monday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.4%.

    • BURBERRY: British luxury group Burberry BRBY.L named former Michael Kors boss Joshua Schulman as its new chief executive, as it warned on profit and scrapped its dividend payment for this year.
    • ROBERT WALTERS: British recruiter Robert Walters RWA.L reported a fall in quarterly net fees, as macroeconomic and political uncertainties weakened employee and employer confidence.
    • RIO TINTO: Rio Tinto (RIO) RIO.L said it has agreed to develop an 80 megawatt (MW) solar farm to facilitate the supply of renewable energy to its operations in Western Australia's Pilbara region.
    • INTEREST RATES: Bank of England interest rate-setter Swati Dhingra said inflation in Britain was unlikely to rise sharply again and the central bank should bring down borrowing costs.
    • HOME PRICES: Asking prices for British homes coming to the market fell this month, with signs that some buyers are waiting for the Bank of England to cut interest rates, a survey from property website Rightmove showed.
    • OIL: Oil prices fell for a second day as the dollar gained ground amid political uncertainty in the U.S. following an attack on U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump while investors eyed the progress of talks for a Gaza ceasefire.
    • METALS: Copper prices steadied, countering pressure from a firmer dollar, as investors awaited clues from China's key meeting this week after lacklustre data in the world's second-largest economy strengthened bets for further stimulus.
