Myers is no Channel 10.
Myers is actually making a profit. Sure sales are lack lustre and the CEO(and half the board) needs sacking, but it is not dying tomorrow in a hole.
A couple of things could potentially happen:
1. Take over bid (best outcome)
2. Solomon Lew becomes CEO (possible, not likely)
3. CEO gets sacked with someone with a clue takes over (very possible)
4. Merge with David Jones (see option 1)
Of course sales could continue to go south and the whole thing goes tits up, but that's at least 12 months away.
