It makes zero sense to me that they would be targeting 'cheap options' when the heads are at such a low price anyway. This theory may make some sense if it was just about accumulating heads at a cheap as possible level, but the 2c strike price and the long date on the options means they wont be heavily discounted until very close to the strike date, and if that's the case they might as well buy heads anyway.
