I can't recall yes or no on the Japan/Korea thing, but to sell direct to a user rather than a producer sounds like a good thing to me. While China are users in their own right, they also account for over 90% of the worlds producers who then on sell to other users.
It's all speculation at this point so lets wait and see what the next couple of days tells us.
