March 20 (Reuters) - Virgin Australia Holdings Ltd (VAH) :
- Vah provides update on capital structure review (VAH)
- Commencement of a review of its capital structure, which forms part of the
group's ongoing program to optimise its balance sheet
- Review will ensure Virgin Australia has appropriate structure to sustain
access to capital and improve cash flow generation and profitability
- Review will include an assessment of the appropriate mix of debt and equity
capital and operational initiatives to enhance cash flow and profitability
- New loan will provide the group with additional flexibility in the
short-term"
- As an initial step in the review, co has secured a new 12 month A$425 million
loan facility
- Says "facility is subordinated to the group's existing debt "
- Secured loan facility with its four major shareholders Air New Zealand,
Etihad Airways, Singapore airlines and Virgin Group
