"If individuals invested in these bonds, they were fools" – that's a deeply ignorant assertion. Remember when you point the finger, you've got three fingers pointing back at yourself. The bonds were sound. The coupon was fully covered by Velocity profits, with plenty to spare to add to Virgin's bottom line. Acquiring the rest of Velocity was a positive move toward improving Virgin's profitability.
I don't see any posts from you back in November, 2019 warning that business need to urgently prepare themselves for a global pandemic.
