I think investors have a right to question long term discounts to NTA however. I too am a long term investor, but persistent double digit discounts to an asset base of large caps as @cutty mentioned arn’t acceptable.
As a scenario, what if you needed the money? You would be forced to sell at a discount or loss which shouldn’t have been. Wouldn’t happen in an unlisted vehicle.
