'At least two years' is a very sensible answer. Take a step back and look, all their good intersections in new deposits still need extensional drilling, then infill drilling, then design and optimisation for reserve status to go into LOM, and theyve got to do all this in a year while still using those rigs for more speculative drilling on rock chip and mapping targets.
Also, hes either going to predict LOM extension (in highly confident reserve status mind you!) after 1 year of drilling of either 1 yr, 2yr or 3yr. Well, 1 would be sad, 3 would be great and probably optimistic (an extra 85,000oz compared to 2 years remember!) but then he would want to make sure he let no one down, so he said 'at least 2'. Conservative, intelligent answer
