Perhaps they should get some science education on the current modern safety & reliability & low emissions that nuclear power has to offer!
The safety of nuclear has come a long way - farmers appear to be getting very good at adopting modern technology in their farming methods, it's time for them to come up to date (& their National Party representatives) with today's nuclear & do thorough research before shooting from the hip with proposed legislative change!
Perhaps Nuclear has come of age?
