    May 31 (Reuters) - AGL Energy (AGL) , Australia's top power producer, on Friday said it had approached Vocus Group Ltd (VOC) about a possible takeover offer but has now withdrawn its bid for the telecoms junior.

    Responding to an article in The Australian Financial Review, AGL said it pulled its offer after being unable to agree due diligence terms with Vocus.
