News: VRL BGH Capital sweetens Village Roadshow takeover offer by about 30%, page-2

Good news regarding the increased offer by BGH. They clearly see this is a business that has the potential for a significant amount of upside (pending proper management), or they would have walked. That's what they do, right?
And shame on the Independent Committee recommending the previous terrible deal with zero pushback or negotiation for a better one. One could easily deduce they might be more interested in getting VRC (Kirby's/Burke etc) the cheapest possible price. Long after this deal, people will remember their role in this and their names, as they should.

Good news also that the previous voting can be revoked and re-submitted by this Friday (do take note). I hope it means ALL voting, not just Scheme A & B, but including whether you apportion your shares to the private entity, or otherwise.
