I am hopeful recent market action above the offer price indicates the market do not accept the current offer as adequate.
The Board will be embarrassed and should be (but won't) held accountable for recommending a genuinely opportunistic offer, whilst having their own holdings protected.
l would gladly vote for a spill of the current board if this thing falls over. Self interest has clearly trumped fiduciary duty. That should be reason enough to substantiate a change in governance.
I have multiple tickets booked for a screening this weekend. Being from Melbourne, l have had a gutfull of so called leaders telling everyone else what is good for them.
I have confidence the larger stakeholders currently buying on market will put this offer to be.
