ISTAT releases final December CPI data (0900 GMT). COMPANIES TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI The phone group said on Monday its biggest shareholder Vivendi VIV.PA relinquished its board seat, as Italy's new government weighed options to take control of the debt-laden former phone monopolist's landline grid.

(*) TIM's CEO Pietro Labriola is expected to attend for the first time a new meeting with Italy's right-wing government, Vivendi and TIM's No.2 shareholder CDP on January 25, a source said, after a round of negotiations last year failed to yield a deal.

SNAM SRG.MI Europe's biggest gas grid operator is expected to increase investments to boost its transport, storage and LNG businesses in the next four years, in a move to reinforce Italy's energy security.

(*) STELLANTIS STLA.MI Automaker Stellantis is set to invest in a geothermal energy project in Germany with the Australia-based lithium developer Vulcan Energy Resources (VUL) to help power a manufacturing facility for electric vehicles, the two companies said on Tuesday. The phased project is aimed at providing renewable heat to Stellantis' Rüsselsheim manufacturing facility, which produces the DS 4 and Opel Astra models.
