DEBT Treasury announces sale of BTP bonds, with relative amounts to be auctioned on July 13.

The Treasury said on Thursday it would not offer 3-month BOTs on July 12 due to the lack of specific funding needs.

COMPANIES TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI Telecom Italia could cut more than 9,000 jobs by 2030 and is ready to offload its fixed network business under a plan that would reshape the debt-laden former telecoms monopoly.

TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI , LEONARDO LDOF.MI The consortium including Telecom Italia, state lender CDP, defence group Leonardo and government IT agency Sogei exercised on Thursday a pre-emption right allowing it to march a rival bid by broadband operator Fastweb and web hosting provider Aruba in the tender to set up a national cloud infrastructure.

(*) CDP's CEO Dario Scannapieco told Corriere della Sera in an interview "it takes two to seal a deal, in this case even more than two... if we manage (to close the deal) good, otherwise we will press ahead with Open Fiber (alone)" when asked about a deal to create a single broadband network in Italy between TIM and Open Fiber, which is controlled by CDP.

MEDIAFOREUROPE MFEB.MI MFEA.MI , MEDIASET ESPANA TL5.MI Italy's top commercial broadcaster has secured control of around 83% of its Madrid-listed TV subsidiary Mediaset Espana's capital, data from Spain's stock market regulator CNMV showed on Thursday.

STELLANTIS STLA.MI The carmaker and unions on Thursday signed an agreement to cut up to 1,820 more workers from the group's Italian operations this year through voluntary redundancies, workers' representatives said.

(*) It said on Thursday it would add production of Fiat Doblò van at its Mangualde plant in Portugal.

(*) ENEL ENEI.MI Vulcan Energy Resources said on Friday it signed a binding agreement with Enel Green Power (EGP), the renewable energy unit of the group, to jointly develop Vulcan's Cesano license near Rome. Under the agreement, 50% of the area under Vulcan's Cesano permit, which has the potential for development of lithium battery chemicals, will be owned by EGP, it added.

(*) BANCA CARIGE CRGI.MI Cooperative banking group Cassa Centrale Banca (CCB), which holds a 5.9% stake in the Genoa-based lender, is planning to tender its shares in a public offer that will soon be launched by BPER Banca EMII.MI , which owns over 80% of Carige shares, CCB Chief Executive Sando Bolognesi was quoted as saying by MF.

(*) TENARIS TENR.MI The steel pipe manufacturer said on Friday it was set to buy Bentler North American Corp' unit Bentler Steel&Tube Manifacturing for a total $460 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis. The acquisition will include $52 million of working capital.

(*) TREVI TFI.MI A term sheet between the group and creditor banks on an 85-million euro restructuring plan, which will include a capital hike, will be signed by the end of the month, saily Il Messaggero reported.

(*) AS ROMA ASR.MI Vehicle Romulus and Remus Investments LLC said on Thursday it would extend by a week to July 15 the deadline for its voluntary takeover offer on the shares of the Rome's soccer team.

Siena, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena holds meetings with trade unions on 2022-2026 industrial plan (0900 GMT).
