Good deal all around. This Kiaka project was going nowhere under B2. Moves a lot of resources to a miner who's committed to Burkina, at what looks to be a very reasonable price.
For B2, a bigger stake in a growing company. It also "clears the decks" for what I think is on the imminent horizon: an acquisition that will give them a growth profile. There are some attractive, shovel-ready development projects in Canada that would renew the market's interest in B2, should they pull the trigger.
