    I think the point is WAM gets the pile of cash and franking credits that AYS will hold once they sell the phone business.

    They are issuing shares that are trading at a premium so I think it is good for WAM though it is likely to lower the premium, hopefully made up for by the discount at which they are getting AYS?

    Problem might be that new WAM shareholders may liquidate quickly putting downward pressure on share price.
