    Watpac Limited (ASX:WTP) has won a $114 million contract to build the new Southpoint commercial tower in South Bank, Brisbane. 

     


    The development will encompass the heritage-listed Collins Place and it will link upgrades planned for the adjacent Southbank railway station. 

     


    The construction and property developer plans to start construction this month with completion slated for mid-2016.

     


    Watpac reported a net profit of $7.4 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
