I agree with you. BOD botched this up. I think I now understand the original BOD rationale, and it was probably sound, but like most of their business, the BOD have misread the market and scored yet another own goal.
I suppose my actual question was can we now expect a special dividend to be announced? Now that the on market purchase is very likely.
