Frogbat, excellent post from you. The regulators should more heavily investigate breaches especially in light of the Optus security breaches.
If the regulators down in Australia do not have sufficient staff, the Government must get them to employ them and crack down on all the breaches, all the non compliance, all the liar loans, all the fraud, all the money laundering, and basically all the problems that has made banking in Australia such a high risk.
If the new Government let’s banks like CBA, NAB, Westpac, the digital banks and telcos like SingTel Optus and Telstra expose customers to all these breaches and risks, the Government not the banks or the telcos should be blamed for it.
Why has the agovernemnt not got Kelly Bayer Rosmarin sacked or resigned, the same way that Lindsay Maxsted and Brian Hartzer were punted by the Government for the money laundering and paedophiles in the Philippines scandal?
One rule for banks and another for telcos?
