Am not impressed with the Telco's in this era of scam calls.
Seriously. Why can't every call that claims to be 02 or 03 or 04XX be forcibly linked to a registered ABN or customer name? Is it too hard for Optus or Telstra to enforce this?
Every scam call that claims to be a legitimate aussie number/business can then be traced to a physical organisation or person and then prosecuted.
The Telco's seem to play a whack-a-mole game with clever scammers and leave vulnerable people like pensioners at their mercy. Is it really that hard, or are the Telco's really that complacent.
