Imo it will take more than 25 years to transition to renewables. Why is green energy called renewable ? Because the solar panels and wind turbines need to be renewed every 10 years when they go into land fill. There will have to be a constant program set up to keep renewable energy renewable.
It will be a case of 3 steps up the renewable ladder and 3 steps down.
