Yes, very unusual. There have been occasions where there is disagreement between auditors and management. This instance the auditors have altered their interpretation of an accounting treatment from an earlier one.
I'm not an accountant so only time will tell what about it will have. In the meantime, business is still doing well. Market just got spooked IMO.
