I remember many years ago when the Soviet Union was in one piece and everybody was supposed to be a communist.
A woman at a market was selling eggs from a basket. All primary produce was supposed to be sold thru Government outlets
and not by individuals. Some commie galoot stomped on the eggs because he disapproved of free market competition.
There is a bunch of Greens and ALP apparatchiks who hold the view that making any sort of profit from the sale
of goods is bad and must be discouraged. Just like the Russian D*ckhead they couldn't sell a bag of carrots. Paper
shuffling and delegating work to others is their game.
Breaking up COL WOW and WES (Bunnings) would only lead to increases in prices and lowered quality all round.
Who amongst you can remember the hundreds of blue 'Tickles' trucks that used to deliver to all the corner stores
that were the main type of food retailers in the days when a FJ Holden cost a couple of years income to av. workers?
