If you say Au has moved to US $1,300 /oz, in the same breadth you have to say due to the fall in the $US.
So gold demand is a very complex animal but I note world growth forecasts are continually being revised upwards and the VIX is perplexingly low. Which gets back to the reason why I am holding some gold stocks.
As insurance, I'm no gold bug but conventional. I don't know much about bitcoin but from that position
I consider it like fairly floss and sugar is my enemy.
