"200 redundant heads at an average cost to company of $250k pa means $50m pa of cost savings. Capitalise that at a mere 8x multiple and you get $0.4bn of value liberation, which itself is a meaningful component of what WHC paid for the BHP assets.".
Depending on the payout cost, that'll take a while to flow through to the bottom line. Great news that they're doing this.
