This implies the current QVE share price is way below asset value so WLE can make an offer that benefits current QVE holders and acquires their assets at a 4.9% discount to asset value, a win/win for QVE shareholders and WLE holders. Further, once the QVE shareholders become WLE owners, the assets in WLE will, almost certainly, be subject to lower fees than at present.

I suspect most of those opposing this bid have their reasons for being anti-Wilson, likely to do with being involved with other cases where Wilson has rescued poorly performing LIC holders and cost the greedy management of those taken over LIC's their "high fee" income.
