News: Wolf Minerals’ English tungsten mine start-up is on-track

  1. Wolf Minerals (ASX:WLF, LON:WLFE) has published a new corporate presentation which confirms the new tungsten mine is on-track for production in the third quarter of this year.

A haul road has been completed, topsoil has now been removed and concreting is finished. High voltage power has been installed.

All necessary equipment has arrived on site in Devon, England. Steel structures are now 80% complete, and the construction of mine waste facilities are 60% complete.

Once operational Hemerdon will be England’s first new metal mine for more than 40 years, and it will be one of the largest in the western world. As a producer of tungsten it will be strategically significant.

Wolf, in the presentation, also highlights forecasts that show tungsten prices are expected to rise and told investors there remains significant potential to increase Hemerdon’s production and mine life.
