His accent helped do him in, let's be honest deep down how many Aussies do you think were rubbed the wrong way hearing a foreign accent discuss their problems and solutions and way of life. Once he hit the publicity trail to restore the damaged reputation of Woolies he was doomed. Seems he did a great job since he took over though, shame he leaves with a tarnished reputation.
